I am guilty of asking my husband if he would “babysit” our child while I went out to run some errands. It’s not babysitting if you’re the parent! Mothers get a ton of praise when they enter into motherhood. I had so many people cheering me on and lots of resources while I was learning how to be a mom. When my husband started to open up about some of his feelings, I decided that I was going to cheer him on and praise him. I didn’t think he needed it at first but turns out he did!

We all want to beat the summer heat without breaking the bank. I live in Wisconsin where the winters are LONG so we are so ready to get out and enjoy the nice weather when it finally arrives. In my experience, children are easily entertained. They find delight in the little and simple things. People joke that kids have more fun with the box that the toy comes in than the actually toy. I have found this to be true! My son’s favorite things to play with right now are the large box that his new car seat came in and a water bottle.
Mothers are some of the strongest, amazing, inspiring and most influential people ever! They literally grow tiny humans – that’s incredible. Becoming a mom is one of the most scary and exciting things you will ever do. You are taking on the responsibility of another little life and that is not an easy task! You will be their voice, their comfort, their guidance, their world for a period of time.
